The Library of Science, Technology, and Culture "K. Th. Dimaras" was established immediately after the founding of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in 1958. It is the largest library of scientific journals in Greece and its collection covers the fields of natural sciences and humanities.

The spacious reading room was designed by the renowned architect Dimitris Pikionis and it offers free online access to a significant number of electronic journals, books, and databases, through NHRF’s subscriptions. Access to electronic sources is provided through the library's wireless network, and they are available either via the reading room's computers or through portable personal devices.

Users’ requests are submitted to library staff either in person in the library’s reference desk or by email or telephone. More in the contact details.
