Synthesis and Advanced Characterization of Inorganic Nanomaterials for Energy and Environmental Applications
Dr. Panagiotis Dallas, Senior Researcher
googleholar

The elucidation of the structure-property relationship in inorganic nanoparticles is key for advancing their applications. Dr Dallas’ research is utilizing electron microscopy, spectroscopy and advanced characterization techniques to picture the stoichiometry, structure and morphology of nanoparticles. The focus of Dr Dallas’ activity is on energy and environmental applications, such as photocatalysis for carbon dioxide reduction, degradation of pollutants and hydrogen evolution, heavy metal removal from aqueous resources and synthesis of photoabsorbers for photovoltaics.
