chance to apply his past experience and gain new insights in in silico studies with emphasis on computational calculations directed to computer-aided drug design
establish himself in the field of molecular modelling for drug design using the relevant software and also presenting his work in workshops and conferences
collaborate with experts in the field such as Prof. George Archontis, University of Cyprus (training partner in DRUGDESI)
get introduced into the multidisciplinary approach of structure-based drug design interacting with the organic synthetic chemists, biologists, biochemists and structural biologists
participate in the organization of workshops and conferences organized by the DRUGDESI host working closely with high profile scientists in the drug design field
gain experience in training others by transferring his knowledge to both young and more experienced scientists in IOPC but also University students and EST Marie Fellows who joined IOPC for a MSc or PhD (in the frame of previously established cooperation with national and other EU academic and research organizations)
continue being employed by our Institute in the frame of an FP7-Regpot EU grant since his performance and output showed clearly the importance of computational studies that with no doubt complement the experimental work of structural biologists.
