EURYI: European Young Investigator Awards-Call for proposals .Deadline 30 November 2006.
The European Heads of Research Councils (EUROHORCS), wishing to contribute to the building of the European Research Area, have joined in creating the European Young Investigator (EURYI) Awards in collaboration with the European Science Foundation (ESF).
The aim of EURYI Awards, for the first time launched in 2003, is to enable and encourage outstanding young researchers from all over the world, to work in Europe for the benefit of the development of European science and for the building up of the next generation of leading European researchers.
The NHRF participates in the above scheme together with FORTH-HELLAS acting as exclusive host institutions for all the EURYI applicants in the following disciplines :

Candidates have to submit their applications in ten (10) hard copies and an electronic version (pdf form) including the signed letter from the Host Institution and the two (minimum) letters of recommendation.
